ZET Kayaks was founded in 2010, when extreme kayaker Honza Lasko, Czech whitewater slalom representative Viktor Legat and award-winning kayak manufacturer Zelezny had a vision to establish a company that was committed to designing and building the world’s best performing, best quality whitewater kayaks.
ZET Kayaks are proud to introduce the FIVE, the fifth seriously great boat in its lineup. Developed in collaboration with top paddlers and the ZET team, the FIVE has all the latest and greatest kayak features that a serious kayaker could wish for. The FIVE is an aggressive, fast and deliriously smooth whitewater boat. It glides like an angel over waves and holes and can accelerate like a demon. The FIVE is a kayak for proactive whitewater paddlers. When kept under control this kayak will reward your efforts with instantaneous reactions to every stroke. Every hole boofed and eddy carved is bound to bring a smile. The width and the length of the FIVE means that the boat accelerates very fast and holds its line perfectly. The hull is designed to release easily and to be predictable, yet aggressive in whitewater. A rockered bow and balanced hull with no “catchy” features makes it easy to maneuver and sensitive to paddle strokes, qualities that mean the boat will perform well in a whitewater race environment. Designing the FIVE, we have focused intensely, not only on the functionality of the boat, but also on the fine details and construction. We believe you will be more than excited by the FIVE.
